The Open House will help Ivy Tech students interested in transferring and completing their four-year degree at IU Southeast learn the steps necessary to accomplish the move. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to Noon, Wednesday, July 24, at Ivy Tech Southern Indiana in Sellersburg.
IU Southeast representatives will be on hand to discuss admissions, transfer credits, financial aid, academic programs, student services, housing, and campus life. Ivy Tech students who are interested in transferring may bring their transcripts and talk to representatives to determine admission eligibility.
The opportunity for IU Southeast and Ivy Tech to join together for the Open House highlights the importance of higher education partnerships in Southern Indiana to meet the state’s goals for degree attainment.
“We are committed to meeting Indiana’s challenge of increasing college attainment at the bachelor’s degree level,” said Uric Dufrene, Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at IU Southeast. “Our partnership with Ivy Tech Community College, provides both institutions mutually beneficial opportunities, and our open house is one example of the collaboration between both institutions.”
