NEW ALBANY, IN, (July 26, 2013) – Indiana University Southeast has been named one of the top universities in Indiana for student- teacher ratio and service to future military members. The College Database ranked IU Southeast No. 4 in the state for Colleges for Future Service Members and No. 9 in the state for Student-Teacher Ratio.

Search begins for IU Southeast chancellor25th July 2013

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (July 25, 2013) – A 13-member search and screen committee has been formed to identify finalists for the position of chancellor of Indiana University Southeast. John Applegate, IU executive vice president for university academic affairs, announced the committee’s formation today.

IU Southeast to host Open House for Ivy Tech students16th July 2013

NEW ALBANY, IN, (July 16, 2013) – Indiana University Southeast and Ivy Tech Southern Indiana will co-host a special Open House next week geared specifically to Ivy Tech students. The Open House will help Ivy Tech students interested in transferring and completing their four-year degree at IU Southeast learn the steps necessary to accomplish the move. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to Noon, Wednesday, July 24, at Ivy Tech Southern Indiana in Sellersburg.

Huggins honored for contribution to student mentoring11th July 2013

IU Southeast Writing Conference helps teachers bring new techniques to classroom1st July 2013

NEW ALBANY, IN (July 1,2013) – Dozens of English teachers throughout Indiana recently completed Indiana University Southeast’s Advanced Institute three week summer program and annual Writing Conference. The program, sponsored by the National Writing Project, is designed for high school English teachers to come together from all over the state to share ideas and gather new ideas for the classroom.
