IU Southeast School of Education to honor students, community group19th April 2013

NEW ALBANY, IN, (April 19, 2013) – The Indiana University Southeast School of Education will honor more than 150 outstanding students and future teachers for academic success at a ceremony next week. The students will be recognized at the annual School of Education Honor Awards and Recognition Program. Also at the event, the School of Education will award the WHAS Crusade for Children campaign with a special recognition – “Friend of the School of Education.”

Dirt Bags to display student work at fine arts open house17th April 2013

NEW ALBANY, IN, (April 17, 2013) – The Dirt Bags Art Club is hosting the 5th Annual IU Southeast Fine Arts Open House to show off the latest work from fine arts students. On display will be works produced by students in various mediums including ceramics, painting, sculpture, graphic design, digital media, printmaking, and photography.

The University strives to create a safe environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. That includes recognizing and reporting suspicious activity.

Registration Day for continuing students scheduled at IU Southeast8th April 2013

NEW ALBANY, IN, (April 8, 2013) – Make sure you get the classes you need this fall! Join IU Southeast for Registration Day for continuing students. On Monday, April 22, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., in the Help Desk Computer Lab in University Center South, we’ll have experts on hand to help returning freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors register for fall classes.

More than 200 IU Southeast students to showcase unique research8th April 2013

NEW ALBANY, IN, (April 8, 2013) – IU Southeast psychology students Patricia Strickland and Catrina Lowery can take one look at a specific hand gesture during a conversation and determine whether someone will think that person is lying. They will present their research into the subject at the 9th Annual IU Southeast Student Conference: Celebrating Achievement, held April 11th and 12th at IU Southeast.
