NEW ALBANY, IN (Feb. 4, 2013) – The Grenadier men’s and women’s basketball teams host St. Louis College of Pharmacy on Saturday, Feb. 9 as part of the University’s Homecoming Week.
The festivities tip off at 2 p.m. when the Grenadier women’s basketball team hits the court. That game is followed by the men’s game at 4 p.m. Fans are encouraged to “White Out” the Activities Building by wearing white to the game.
Students will have the opportunity to compete in a tricycle race for a chance to win a scholarship during halftime of both games.
During halftime of the men’s game IU Southeast Chancellor Sandra Patterson-Randles will award the “Spirit Stick” to the student organization that earned the most points during Spirit Week.
Fans can receive complimentary pizza, courtesy of the IU Southeast athletic department. Giveaways, including T-shirts for students, will be provided by various campus departments, while supplies last.
Ticket prices for the event are $7 for adult general admission and free of charge for children 10 years old or younger. IU Southeast faculty, staff and students will be admitted FREE of charge with a UCard.
