College Goal Sunday set to help students with financial aid18th February 2013

NEW ALBANY, IN, (Feb. 18, 2013) – The Indiana University­ Southeast Financial Aid department will host College Goal Sunday, a statewide program dedicated to helping Indiana students and their parents take advantage of the resources they need to succeed, this weekend. The event will take place at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 24 in the IU Southeast Library.

Finding that special someone shares the fundamentals of an effective job search: Who you know is key, it takes time, and online efforts are over-rated. “Every great relationship, romantic or business or otherwise, begins with small talk. These relationships start with a simple conversation,” said Bernardo J. Carducci, psychology professor and director of the Shyness Research Institute at Indiana University Southeast.

Magician Rusty Ammerman brings the mystery of illusion to IU Southeast14th February 2013

NEW ALBANY, IN, (Feb. 14, 2013) – Magician Rusty Ammerman will be bring his tricks to the IU Southeast campus on Sunday, Feb. 17. Ammerman’s show, Dimension of Illusion, will be in the Hoosier Room from 2-4 p.m. An interactive show that audiences of all ages will enjoy, it features elements of escape, illusion, and audience interaction and involvement.

Is your boss a bully? IU Southeast study shows direct reports aren’t the only victims9th February 2013

NEW ALBANY, IN, (Feb. 8, 2013) – A recent IU Southeast study shows that the actions of a bully boss damage the demeanor of an entire office – not just the intended victims. The study, co-authored by IU Southeast business professors Ken Harris and Ranida Harris, examined the effects of abusive supervision among hundreds of employees in various fields.

IU Southeast Homecoming Week Begins Feb. 44th February 2013

NEW ALBANY, IN (Feb. 4, 2013) – The Grenadier men’s and women’s basketball teams host St. Louis College of Pharmacy on Saturday, Feb. 9 as part of the University’s Homecoming Weekend. The festivities tip off at 2 p.m. when the Grenadier women’s basketball team hits the court. That game is followed by the men’s game at 4 p.m. Fans are encouraged to “White Out” the Activities Building by wearing white to the game.
