IU Southeast School of Business places among top business schools in nation for seventh straight year

NEW ALBANY, IN, (Oct. 31, 2011) – The IU Southeast School of Business has once again been named one of the best in the country. IU Southeast is named in the 2012 edition of “The Best 294 Business Schools” by the Princeton Review. This is the seventh year in a row that IU Southeast has been included in the publication, which recognizes Master’s in Business Administration programs.

Making a world-class education more affordable: IU to offer significantly discounted undergraduate tuition for summer-session students

INDIANAPOLIS -- Indiana University today (Oct. 24) unveiled a plan to significantly reduce undergraduate tuition for summer-semester students beginning in 2012 in order to provide financial relief to many of its students, promote year-round college attendance and decrease the time it takes many students to earn a degree. Beginning next summer, Indiana resident undergraduates enrolled at any of the seven IU campuses statewide will receive a 25-percent discount in tuition for courses taken in the summer.

IU Southeast School of Business ranked among top-tier schools for 2nd year in a row

NEW ALBANY, IN, (Oct. 24, 2011) – The Indiana University Southeast School of Business has again been ranked as a top-tier business school. IU Southeast moved up 30 spots in the 2012 listing of “Best Business Schools” by US News and World Report. This ranking places IU Southeast’s undergraduate business programs among the top 15 percent in the country.

Interdisciplinary Colloquium Series takes climate change to outer space

NEW ALBANY, IN (Oct. 6, 2011) – The next session in the inaugural Indiana University Southeast Interdisciplinary Colloquium Series will focus on intergalactic climate change. The next entry in the IU Southeast Interdisciplinary Colloquium Series, “Climate Change: What are the Facts and What Should We Do,” will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, on the third floor of the IU Southeast Library.

IU Southeast to host 2011 Chancellor’s Medallion Dinner

NEW ALBANY, IN, (Oct. 14, 2011) – The annual Indiana University Southeast Chancellor’ Medallion Dinner will feature a new twist to celebrate the campus’s 70th anniversary. For the first time in the event’s history, the University will forego recognizing any new recipient. Instead, all 37 previous Chancellor’s Medallion award recipients will be honored.

Somi performance at IU Southeast Ogle Center cancelled

Financial aid mini-conference can help “finance your future”

NEW ALBANY, IN (Oct. 11, 2011) – Solve the paying for college puzzle at Indiana University Southeast. “Financing Your Future,” a mini-conference hosted by the IU Southeast Office of Financial Aid, is designed to help parents and students figure out how to make college more affordable. The “Financing Your Future” mini-conference will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 18, in the IU Southeast Conference Center.
